Over the last 15 years, he was specifically in charge of recruiting at Virginia Tech and helped create a pipeline of candidates and employees from Virginia Tech to Goldman Sachs.

Prior to Goldman Sachs, Nick worked as a Sales Representative for DuPont and then as a Sales Manager for AkzoNobel. Both of these jobs were in the Coatings Business. From there, Nick attended the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where he received his Masters of Business Administration. He received his job offer from Goldman Sachs (GS) after a summer internship spent in the Fixed Income Division at GS.
Nick currently serves as an Advisor to multiple start-ups in a variety of industries and he is a General Partner of Lunch Pail Ventures. Nick also serves on the Virginia Tech Finance Board, SEED Advisory Board, and is a Board Member of the Apex Center for Entrepreneurs. Nick is an active investor in the stock and bond markets, private real estate transactions, healthcare companies, drug and alcohol treatment centers, and property management businesses. Nick was the Captain of the 1990 Virginia Tech football team and was named a GTE Academic All-American that same year. He is also a member of the Legends of Lane Stadium in recognition of his football days at Virginia Tech.
